Sarracenia Obsessed : The Nursery

Thank you everyone who has shown interest in my seeds. I had no idea that it would attract as large a following it has. Literally, I get e-mails from all over the world requesting these seed. Some of you have even sent photos back of what you have grown and I am amazed! Thanks!!

This year is not unlike all the other years with challenges. This year there were no losses from cold, (Thank God!) no late frosts, and though we are in a drought now the summer was not bad for the plants, for me it was difficult. The heat was intense but was accompined by high humidity which the plants loved. I did not have to water everyday because of this. The spring had erratic temps and as I am told by my good friend, Jerry Addington, that it effects pollen production and fertilization. You can see that by the low numbers on the packets of each cross. Rob Co in San Fran had the same experience. For this reason some of the packets have only 10 seeds, that is to enable several of you to get a chance at those seed. I have included OP species seed for my buyers in other parts of the world where Sarracenia species are not readily available. Again, I am offering OP (open pollinated) seeds as you never know what Nature has up it's sleeve. I know many of my plants with "working" names are not familar to most of you. I have a web designer who is working on changing all that, some I have tried to explain breifly.

When ordering PLEASE cut and paste or type out the number and the name and include your name and e-mail address. This is very helpful to me as I sort the orders and it helps me avoid mistakes. DO NOT send money until I have confirmed your order and sent you a total. Patience is a must as I suspect I will be baraged with orders.
